BE qualified with a minimum of 3 year’s experience, you will enjoy the variety of project work that this role will expose you to. Your enthusiasm for structural engineering will be reflected in your University grades. New Zealand experience and familiarisation with NZ codes is essential, as is a good understanding of seismic principles.
While there will be mentors abound to get you up to speed, it goes without saying, your confident approach, exceptional communication skills, both with colleagues and clients, and analytical outlook will secure you the job.
While strong verbal and written communication skills will be key to your success in this role, equally important is your desire to work well with others, your can-do attitude and ability to keep your sense of humour when the pressure is on.
As a company, we are small enough to be open and friendly, but large enough to provide you with a variety of projects to help progress your career. We encourage ongoing learning and development, and will support your participation in industry-related conferences and forums.
