King Edward Parade

We designed the seismic strengthening of this circa 1930s unreinforced brick structure, upgrading it from earthquake prone to ‘low seismic risk’ in the event of an earthquake. Through close collaboration with the client and contractor, we investigated the existing structure and developed a solution that allowed for rapid installation. This approach helped minimise disruption to existing tenancies while delivering a robust seismic upgrade.
